THE DUAL VOLTAGE JACK The Dual Voltage Jack allows easy two-step charging for batteries. By inserting the included Dual Voltage plug, the APS will deliver an increased "quick-charge" for rapid charging of the battery. Quick-Charge voltages are relative to the voltage settings of the APS (for instance, a nominal output voltage of 13.6vdc is increased to 14.2vdc).

The Dual Voltage Jack also provides simple installation of the IQ-4 Smart Controller. By inserting an external IQ-4 controller into the Dual Voltage Jack, the APS automatically provides "smart charge" control.
